Helping Territorians kick start their careers
The NT Government’s Early Careers programs opened for applications today.
The NT Government has a range of opportunities now available for graduates, new trainees and Territorians seeking vacation employment to kick start their careers.
Applications to NT Government’s Early Careers programs opened today.
Territorians can now apply for:
- the 2024 Graduate Development Program
- a full time traineeship
- the Vacation Employment Program.
In support of the application process, the NT Government has launched a new streamlined Early Careers website.
It’s a one stop shop for all program-related information, advice on the application process and opportunities available.
The last Graduate Development Program attracted more than 400 applications for 53 placements.
The website ensures all potential applicants have easy access to everything they need at their fingertips.
Vacation employment
The NT Government’s vacation employment program commences in July 2023.
Applications close on 16 April 2023.
The vacation employment program is a pathway into the Graduate Development Program.
Traineeships
The traineeship program will commence in July 2023.
Applications close on 30 April 2023.
Graduate development program
Graduates can be placed throughout the public service in professions such as:
- Business
- Law
- Community Services
- Engineering Civil Construction
- Social Work
- Communications and
- Marketing.
Applications for the 2024 graduate opportunities close on 14 May 2023.
Graduate placements commence in January 2024.
