The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) delivers digital, data and corporate services for the NT Government.

We help agencies provide better services to the community by offering clear advice, technical skills and hands‑on support.

DCDD leads whole‑of‑government digital policy and coordinates key initiatives to:

  • improve connectivity
  • strengthen cyber security
  • support a more digital NT.

We support all government departments by delivering shared corporate and digital services, providing advice and developing practical solutions that drive change.

Procurement services

Coordinates procurement and contract management services across government, helping agencies secure the supplies and services they need.

Property leasing services

Manages government property leases and tenancy arrangements for agencies and maintain compliance with legislative requirements.

DCDD leased government properties have been checked for asbestos and material containing asbestos, to find out more read the asbestos register.

NT Fleet

Manages the NT Government’s vehicle fleet (excluding Police, Fire and Emergency Services).

Employment and finance services

Supports agencies with recruitment and employment services, including contracts and contract extensions.

Provides finance operations and advisory services that help agencies manage their budgets and financial responsibilities.

Workforce services

Supports agencies with workforce planning, development and HR advisory services.

Services include:

  • HR case management
  • training and workforce programs
  • end to end payroll services
  • employment programs across government.

Across‑government systems

Provides support, administration, digital solutions and improvement initiatives for corporate systems used by all NT Government agencies.

Agency business systems

Supports agency specific digital systems that are used in delivering services to the community.

Cyber security

Coordinates cyber security planning, investment and incident response across the NT Government.

We also represent the NT in national cyber security forums and work closely with federal agencies, including the Australian Cyber Security Centre.

  • intergovernmental initiatives

Data centre services

Manages essential ICT infrastructure and support systems across government.

Digital projects

Coordinates and oversees major digital projects that deliver customer focused, transformational services for government and the community.

Data services

Helps agencies make informed decisions by providing:

  • data management and governance
  • data policy
  • data warehouse management
  • corporate and strategic reporting
  • improvement initiatives and advisory services.

ICT governance

Provides frameworks and oversight to help agencies meet digital governance and accountability requirements.

Services include:

  • assesses agency proposals for ICT investments
  • oversees major ICT projects that are high‑risk, complex or costly
  • supports consistent, secure and effective use of ICT across government.

Telecommunications

DCDD advocates for better telecommunications services across the NT.

Through co‑investment programs and partnerships, we work to improve access to essential services, especially in remote communities.

Telecommunications is regulated by the Australian Government and delivered by service providers. We work closely with both to help ensure Territorians have reliable, long‑term connectivity.

Digital connectivity and strategy

Delivers digital policy, strategy and reforms that support government transformation and growth of the NT’s digital economy.

This includes providing specialist advice on corporate ICT systems and digital service platforms.

Regional Roads Australia Mobile Program

The NT Government released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for mobile network operators and infrastructure providers to deliver mobile phone coverage at selected roadside rest areas along major NT highways and roads.

This RFP is part of the Commonwealth’s Regional Roads Australia Mobile Program (RRAMP), which funds improved mobile coverage along nominated arterial roads in the NT.

The RFP closed on Monday 16 March 2026.

Web design and digital support

Manages the NT Government’s public websites and intranets.  They support agencies to deliver clear, consistent and accessible online content.

Services include:

  • web standards, protocols and digital tools
  • training and education
  • website development, consolidation and technical coordination
  • improving the NT Government’s online presence.

Information services

Manages government records, including records management advice, TRM help desk services, records appraisal and disposal, training and development, mail and courier services and freedom of information services.

Fines Recovery Unit

Manages the collection of unpaid fines, infringement notices and court penalties.

Digital Policy

Manages and maintains whole-of-government digital (ICT) policies and standards and public sector organisations records and information management standards.

They facilitate the records retention and disposal working group and issue disposal freezes in collaboration with the Archives Service.
