Candice Bowditch

Candice is an Indigenous Australian Computer Scientist, from the Northern Territory of Australia.

Candice’s people are Larrakia and Wadjigan (saltwater), and Arabunna (desert). She works at Google as a Security Engineer in Sydney. Candice believes strongly in the power of technology to empower historically marginalised and underrepresented communities.

Candice is an Aurora Education Foundation International Study Tour Scholar, Google Anita Borg Scholar and Global Shaper with the Global Shapers Community, which is a World Economic Forum initiative.

She holds her Bachelors in Computer Science from RMIT University, and was the 2019-20 Vice-Curator for the Melbourne Global Shapers Hub.
